The hype has gotten into the head of Anim Cudjoe - Agyeman Badu

Mattew Anim Cudjoe of Legon Cities was tipped to take the on going U-20 championship by storm and exhibit his talent to the world stage but he has failed to glitter.

The former Kumasi Asante Kotoko winger burst on to the local scene and was tipped for greatness but the aura around him seems to be fading away.

In an interview with Adanseɛ Sports, former Udinese midfielder, Emmanuel Agyeman Badu believes the hype has gotten into the head of the young talent which needs to be controlled before we lose such a talent.

"He had a lot of attention from kotoko and his visit to Bayern Munich for trials but I think the hype has gotten into his head and he seems to be losing focus".

"His agents should sit him down and let him know he has more to achieve and he has the talent to be great. He shouldn't allow the hype to get into his head and he must also do extra training to keep his fitness, technical and tactical awareness as a player" Agyeman Badu stated.

Agyeman Badu questioned the timing of the unsuccessful trial Anim Cudjoe had with German side Bayern Munich, "we are all African players, mostly when you go for such unsuccessful trials, you tend to question yourself and your quality. So for me, the timing was wrong but its not too late. He can still be talked to and managed to refrain from being swollen headed else he will fade off"
