President Akufo-Addo will make his 14th address to the nation on measures taken to curb the spread of the Coronavirus today.
Reliable sources say, he will ease restrictions for football to allow Ghana’s U-17 Women’s team will continue their quest for the 2021 FIFA World Cup ticket when face Nigerian U-17 Women’s team in October.
The qualifications for the tournament which will be held in India were suspended in April following the rapid increase in the widespread of the novel coronavirus pandemic.
That tie was scheduled in May but as a result of the coronavirus CAF postponed.
CAF announced new dates for the completion of the qualifications.
Below is the date for the final round of qualifiers:
30, 31/Oct. or 1/Nov./2020
2nd Leg: 19, 20 or 21/Nov./2020
The FIFA U-17 World Cup has been pushed from 17 February to 7 March 2021 in India as a result of the global pandemic.
