NPP PRIMARIES TURNS NEW DIRECTION; WILL BE DONE BY MAJORITY- General secretary affirms.
The General Secretary of ruling party, Mr. John Boadu has said that the mode of selecting/ polling station executives will not be the same as its used to be previously.
Speaking on Ekosiisɛn show with Osei Bonsu, he said, "Gone were the days when parliamentarians and other party executives sit in the room to chose who becomes a polling station executive, things will change going forward. He also specified which age category qualifies to vote for the youth organizer." John Boadu said that formerly, people at age 40 voted to elect the youth organizer.
Mr Boadu continue that the party will spread the range to all those who have party cards as a qualification to vote and elect party executives.
Mr John Boadu concluded that, a new party ID card would be issued for all candidate the primaries.
