The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has told its members in compliance with the Covid-19 protocols, its 2020 Manifesto launch shall be held virtually.
The NPP will launch its manifesto for the 2020 general elections on Saturday, August 22, 2020.
The drafting of the manifesto, according to the NPP General Secretary, Mr John Boadu, was supervised by the Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
In a statement signed by General Secretary of the party, John Boadu, said the attendance will be strictly by invitation.
“In view of this, the organizing committee for the Manifesto launch has set up Zoom platforms for persons other than members of the party’s National council who wish to participate in the event to join the feed”, he added.
He added that “persons are encouraged to converge at the various regional offices of the party where the proceedings will be projected on large screens. Equally, live feeds from general offices will be taken and displayed on screen during the event which begins at 10am on Saturday”.
“The entire proceedings of the manifesto launch shall be broadcasted live on all radio and television stations across the country for the listening and viewing pleasure of the general public. The proceedings will be streamed live on the social media handles (Facebook, twitter, Instagram, etc.) of the President, the vice President and the Party”, he announced
