Negotiate with Parents to Pay Fees for E-Learning – Education Ministry tells Private Schools

The National Inspectorate Board (NIB) under the Ministry of Education have advise Private School Proprietors to engage parents to reach a consensus on fees to be charge for virtual leaning.

In a statement signed by its Executive Director, Dr. Hagar Hilda Ampadu, said “it has come to the notice of the NIB that some proprietors and school authorities are unclear about the President directives on the continuation of school for the rest of the year”.

She added that the directives on “All Universities, Senior High Schools, and basic schools, i.e. public and private schools, will be closed Monday, 16th March, 2020, till further notice. The Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the Ministry of Communication, has been tasked to roll out distance learning programmes” still holds.
