Nana Konadu to lead NDP in 2020 Elections

Founder of the National Democratic Party (NDP), Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings has been declared as the Presidential candidate to lead the party in the December 7 polls.

A statement signed by the general Secretary of the party, Alhaji Mohammed Frimpong said, “the national executive committee (NEC) had earlier on Thursday 20th August,2020 unanimously affaimed the choice of the former first lady Dr. (Mrs) Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings from the shortlist of three (3) presidential aspirants for the NDP flagbearer”.

“Delegates will all be drawn from the sixteen(16) regions of Ghana to a total of eighty in compliance with covid-19 health protocols to deepen the nationwide structures of the party as well as confirm national officers for another four (4) year term”, he added.

The national Democratic Party (NDP) will holds its Third National Delegates conference on Friday, 4th and Saturday 5thSeptember, 2020, at the GNAT Hall in Accra under the theme: shared leadership for National transformation, human empowerment and Anti-corruption.
