Nana Adakabre Frimpong-Manso donates cash to Agogo state College’s NSMQ team

Nana Adakabre Frimpong-Manso, the Executive Director of Adesua Foundation, has made cash donation to the students and teachers of Agogo state College ahead of the 2020 National Science & Maths Quiz and Science competition at the University of Ghana, Legon.

The donation is to be used to prepare the students towards this year’s National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) on September 28.

An amount of GH₵200 was made to the school authorities on Monday.

Nana Frimpong Manso who is also the Adesuahene of Agogo Traditional Council used the opportunity to commend the quiz team, comprising teachers and students, for successfully reaching the one-eigth stage of the competition.

He added that he was ready to pool resources together to support the school to thrive academically.

He thus expressed the hope that the donation will motivate the students and their teachers to work hard and win the trophy.

Receiving the cash on behalf of the NMSQ team, the assistant Headmaster (Academics), Mr. Nicholas Budu Marfo, thanked him for their unflinching support and pledged the team’s commitment to do their best in bringing glory to the school.

He said, It is therefore hoped that the donation will boost the morale of the students and their teachers to help win the competition.

He added that, It is also hoped that the gesture will further inspire past students scattered across the world to forge together to help fraternize and pool resources for the benefit of the school
