Board Chairman of National Sports Authority and former Member of Parliament for Asante Akyem North Constituency, Hon. Kwadwo Baah Agyemeng has declared this year’s General Election as “ASEDA ABATOƆ” for the New Patriotic Party.
Speaking after he inaugurated the campaign teams for New Patriotic Party in the Kwadaso Constituency and Nhyiaeso Constituency in the Ashanti Region for the December 7, general elections, he declared this year’s December 7 elections and voting for NPP as “ASEDA ABATOƆ”.
“We really have to thank President Nana Akufo Addo for his selfless service of how far he’s brought Ghana. The Free SHS has taken off the heavy burden of MPs paying school fees of SHS students in their constituencies", he added.
The team is to help retain the parliamentary seats and to garner more votes for the Presidential candidate in the polls.
The teams, made up of political bigwigs drawn from across the two constituencies respectively would serve as a reconciliation body with the mandate to design strategic programmes and activities for the party to achieve its target for the 2020 polls.
The two Campaign Teams are comprised of the Parliamentary Candidates elect, MCEs, all constituency operations, media relation officer, security and intelligence, information and technology unit and a legal unit.
Some of the members for two constituencies are Dr. Kingsley Nyarko, the newly elected Parliamentary Candidate for the Kwadaso Constituency and Stephen Amoah, Parliamentary Candidate for Nhyiaeso constituency.
Kwadwo Baah Agyemang, said the team would work hard to retain the parliamentary seats and also secure an overwhelming victory for President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
Among the Party Members who inaugurated the campaign teams for New Patriotic Party was the Member of Parliament for Afigya Kwabre North Constituency, Nana Marfo Amaniampong.
