GHANA FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION (GFA) BOSS FILES TO CONTEST CAF EXECUTIVE COUNCIL ELECTIONS
President of the Ghana Football Association Kurt E. S. Okraku has filed to contest for the next Confederation of Africa Football, CAF's Executive Council election.
The GFA President beat the 12 November, 2020 deadline of submission of documents to contest for the highest decision making body of CAF.
The election is billed to come off on March 21, 2021 at the CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.
Former GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi occupied the seat at the Executive Council of CAF but resigned three years ago due to alleged corruption charges leveled against him.
He was replaced by Nigerian FA Chairman Hamidou Djibrilla who is likely to give Kurt Okraku a contest for the position at CAF.
