Dogbe returns to the ring as he takes on Adam "BluNose" Lopez

Former world champion Isaac Dogbe will stage a return to the ring on Saturday, June 19 in a fight against Adam Lopez for the NABF belt at The Theater, Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas.

The Royal Storm [21-2, 15 KOs] whose prominence came when he won the WBO junior featherweight world title in April 2018 having knocked out Jessie Magdaleno at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia.

"The Royal Storm" has struggled for a place in the world Boxing champions ladder fter one title defense against Hidenori Otake (knockout) on August 25, 2018, the high flying mojo of the Ghanaian boxer was was brought down with a double defeats to Emanuel “Vaquero” Navarrete.

Isaac Dogbe returned to box last July after a 26 month absence from the ring and won against Chris Avalos en route to an eighth round stoppage.

Adam Lopez (15-2, 6 KOs), hails from Glendale, California, has his two straight wins against former world champion Jason Sanchez in 10 rounds on 13th February,2021, and against Oscar Valdez in November 2019.

Speaking ahead of the fight, Lopez said he’s going to prove on fight night that he is a different fighter:

“Dogbe is a former world champion who always comes to fight. But I’m a different fighter now, and I know what a win would mean for my career. I’m coming to Las Vegas to steal the show.” said "BluNose" Lopez

The winner of the 10 round featherweight "undercard" battle between Isaac Dogbe and Adam Lopez will get a world title shot later in the year.
