The New Patriotic Party has withdrawn all legal suits from the courts relating to the 145 delegates in 61 polling stations, mostly from Agogo whose names have been unlawfully and fraudulently deleted from the original photo album of the party in the Asante Akyem North Constituency.
The party filed a writ in court in an attempt to legal basis on the procedural irregularities and non- compliance with the constitution of the NPP on the part of the plaintiffs as bases for the court to throw out the case brought before it by the plaintiffs.
The party through its lawyer, Nana Obiri Boahen , informed the court that the NPP is withdrawing the motion.
Nana Obiri Boahen apologized to the court for being responsible for the adjournment of the case the last time to today for hearing of the motion earlier dismissed and refilled a second time.
The court then struck out the motion.
Obiri Boahene informed the court that the NPP will wait for whatever decision the court will take and it will be bound by it.
He added the party may not be attending court after today but it will respect the decisions of the court, and he asked the court to record what he has said.
Lawyer for the over 135 aggrieved delegates, Samson Lardy Anyenini , then said he was ready to argue the motion for injunction which has been pending since 18th June 2020.
Samson Lardy noted that it was very urgent because Andy Appiah Kubi was still involved in activities in disregard of the injunction even after he has been cited for contempt which will be heard on 28th September .
The judge said it is only fair to adjourn the case so that Andy Appiah Kubi who was not present today will be present for that hearing.
He said once the injunction has been served on the MP the lawyer should not worry.
He adjourned the case to 29th September
