Renominated Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Asante Akyem North Municipal, Hon. Francis Oti Boateng has been endorsed by Assembly members and government appointees in a 100% score on September 30, 2021.
32 out of 34 casted a 'Yes" vote to secure him a 100% vote. 10 of the 32 were appointees whilst the remaining 22 were assembly members.
Speaking after a declaration by the Asante Akyem North Municipal electoral commissioner Mr Francis Ohene Komffa, the MCE thanked his Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo for entrusting him again for the post.
He also ceased the opportunity to thank the assembly members and others for such a bigger endorsement.
The committed MCE however pledged his quota to work very hard to secure expected development in the municipal with peace and unity.
Francis Oti Boateng entreated the assembly members, chiefs and people of the community to cooperate with him and the president as they dream to work hard to move the municipal forward.
The occasion which had in attendance of the head of communications for Ghana Gas, Mr Ernest Owusu Bempah, Dr. S.K Frimpong the technical economic advisor to the vice President, the Ashanti Regional Director of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO), Kwabena Nsenkyire, Nananom from the various traditional council within the municipal, and some confirmed Municipal Chief Executives within the Asante Akyem enclave.
In addition, the Ashanti Regional NADMO Director, Hon. Kwabena Nsenkyire represented the Ashanti regional council as the acting Ashanti Regional minister also applauds the assembly members for showing developmental commitment in their vote.
