Asante Akyem North District Police embark on exercise to enforce nose mask wearing

As part of measures to reduce community infections of COVID-19 in the Asante Akyem North District, the District Police Commander has begun an enforcement exercise aimed at ensuring that every individual who steps out of their homes wears a nose mask.

The exercise according to the District Police Commander, Superintendent Kingsley Owusu Bempah said the move was to enforce the President's directives on the wearing of nose masks and adherence of other COVID-19 protocols.

He ordered his men to move around the Agogo community to check and enforce the people to put all protocols concerning covid-19 in place, especially the wearing of nose masks.

He also advised the public especially residents in the district to follow the pandemic protocols to reduce their vulnerability to contract the ravaging pandemic.
