Afenyo-Markin confirmed as deputy Majority leader, Ophelia Hayford is deputy chief whip
Member of Parliament for Effutu, Alexander Afenyo-Markin has been confirmed as the deputy Majority leader in the eighth Parliament which commences on the 7th of January 2021.
Afenyo-Markin will be assisting the current majority leader in Ghana’s next parliament, Hon Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu.
Mr Frank Annoh Dompreh, the Member of Parliament of Nsawam-Adoagyiri, , has also been named as the Chief Whip of the incoming majority side.
He will be deputised by the newly elected Member of Parliament for the Tolon constituency in the Northern Region, Alhaji Habib Iddrisu and newly elected Member of Parliament for Mfantseman and the first wife of the late Ekow Quansah Hayford, Ophelia Hayford
